Basics of black and white darkroom technology - development of a negative film (small or medium format), enlargement on paper prints. The one in Berlin was given by Ottavio Sellitti and the one in Jeddah was given by Majid Angawi.
PHOTOGRAPHY SCREEN PRINTING WORKSHOP

Basics of screen printing - Together we go through all the steps of the screen printing process. From the UV exposure of the printing stencil to the finished print on paper and textile in small quantities. The workshop was given by Timo Moors.
WOMEN IN FILM PANEL, MODERATOR ( MISK ORGANISATION)

In this panel we discussed the issues women face in the filmmaking industry and the misrepresentation of female characters. Panel guests, Leila Djansi (director & writer) , Maxine de Vera ( line producer), Amal A Agroobi (director & a writer) and Reema Almajid ( writer). I had the honor to moderate this session.

Cinepoetics Pictures is a Jeddah-based independent film production company, specializing in developing and producing writer/director driven feature films. The company was founded in 2016 by producers Abdulrahman Khawj and Mariam Khayat.
Beside the company projects it was a great place to host many art movie nights, as we know in Saudi cinemas was prohibited for a long time till 2018 and till now there is no official place for art house films. Also I was lucky enough to handle two internships beside my main work in the films projects. One of my main interests in the internships was to empower women in above the line roles to find their own voices and transfer it into a film, it's a journey personally I believed in and I am living.
