BIO

Khalida has a bachelor degree in filmmaking. She produced her first feature The Great Muse in 2016. In 2017 she worked on a number of shorts and she was an executive producer in a feature film Physical Properties of Coffee directed by Abdulrahman Khawj. In 2018 she worked as an assistant director at “Zero Distant” feature film directed by Abdulaziz Alshalahy. In the same year she worked on two other feature films: Rollem as a production coordinator and Quareer as an assistant director. Also in 2018 she directed and produced her first installation short art film “Tayseer”. In 2019 - 2020 Khalida worked on an omnibus feature film “ Becoming” as a production manager, it will premiere in Cairo International Film Festival November 2021.
Currently she is in Berlin art residency sponsored by Misk Organisation researching and developing her analogue photography project.
